Concussion Sustained During Fall in Game

Noel's Status for Upcoming Games Uncertain

The Oklahoma City Thunder announced today that center Nerlens Noel suffered a concussion during the team's recent game. The injury occurred when Noel fell awkwardly after attempting to block a shot.

Noel was immediately evaluated by team medical staff and taken to a local hospital for further examination. He was diagnosed with a concussion and is currently resting at home.

The Thunder will be without Noel for the upcoming game against the Sacramento Kings. It is unclear at this time when he will be able to return to action.

Noel is averaging 7.5 points and 5.5 rebounds per game for the Thunder this season. He has been a key contributor to the team's success, providing a strong presence in the paint and an ability to block shots.

The Thunder are hoping that Noel will be able to return to action soon. They are currently in the middle of a playoff race and need all of their best players available.
